Requisites:

• Computer with SD card reader or adapter;
• SD card;
• Canon PowerShot SX520 HS Camera.

Solution:

1. Format the SD Card using the Camera:
   
   
   1. Insert the SD card into the camera;
   2. Format the SD card using the camera;
   3. Take a picture to ensure there is a file on the SD card.
      
      
2. Install CHIMP on the Computer:
   
   
   • Download and install CHIMP.
     
     
3. Insert the SD Card into the Computer:
   
   
   • Remove the SD card from the camera and insert it into the computer SD card reader.
     
     
4. Configure CHDK Autoboot with CHIMP:
   
   
   • Use CHIMP to activate CHDK autoboot on the SD card.
     
     
5. Install the Zadig Driver:
   
   
   1. In addition to CHIMP, install an additional driver for the camera;
      
      
   2. Download and install Zadig.

6. Lock the SD card:
   
   
   • Finally, after installing the driver, lock the SD card to ensure that the camera boots with CHIMP installed.
